Why + How
we do it

We tell stories to educate and transform through empathy. We believe authentic storytelling is the best way to stoke conversations, bring people together and build a more respectful world.

We have a genuine love of people. We value finding new ways to tell stories. We work with creatives and diverse voices who share our values.

Content Development
We leverage our production expertise and media relationships to bring unscripted content to life.

Our team has developed a TSN series with NBA Champion Danny Green, a Hot Docs Official Selection documentary on ska/reggae legend Stranger Cole, a 24-part news show amplifying female voices in Ontario and an Amazon Prime show on the e-sports industry.

We're always looking to collaborate with creatives and brainstorm new ideas. So join us and let's experiment!

about us

Graeme Mathieson

Graeme is a Director, Producer, EP and Creative Director with over 15 years experience in unscripted, commercial and documentary filmmaking. His work has taken him around the world, from Ethiopia to Chile and Jamaica to Japan. Graeme's Hot Docs premiered documentary short on ska/reggae legend Stranger Cole, with collaborator Chris Flanagan, has led to a series with the NFB on Canada's buried reggae history (currently in production). And there may have been a point in time during your rush hour commute that you heard Graeme’s (DJ Gramera) voice on the radio - he spent 15 years hosting StolenSouls radio program: his weekly soul, funk and reggae vinyl show on CHRY 105.5FM (and you probably got invited to one of his DJ nights). Caitie Drewery

As a Producer and Writer, Caitie has developed campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, non-profit startups, NBA stars and everything in-between. She specializes in empathetic documentary storytelling, working on multiple docuseries for TVO, TSN and Amazon Prime. Her work has taken her on a wild ride: from scripting a travel series in Northern Spain with Food Network personality Bob Blumer to documenting the housing crisis in Northern Labrador. And she's loved every minute of it. If you want to find an awkward teenage Caitie, look no further than old episodes of Canada A People's History where you'll spot her in a recurring role - hiding her historically inaccurate braces as hard as she can. Steve Lang

As a Producer, Director and Editor, Steve has over 20 years of experience in the industry, working on features, television, commercials and everything in-between. As a Post Production Supervisor, he's worked on two seasons of a 26-part cooking/travel PBS series that was distributed internationally and on a HBO Canada/Netflix feature film, with a theatrical run. A perfect day for Steve includes hanging out by the pool with a cold Anchor Steam, manning the BBQ to cook the perfect brisket, and topping it off with a vintage Simpsons episode (fact: he can quote every, single, episode).
