This documentary was built around 4 personal accounts from Canadian Gulf War veterans, bridged together with narration to provide context and historical facts. The emotional first-hand accounts were audio-only interviews, so we created illustrations, animations, motion graphics and sound design to help bring the archival imagery and interviews to life. The result is a powerful piece that takes the audience on an educational and immersive journey through the Gulf War.

Commissioned to be played in high school classrooms around the country, we also created four shorts specifically for Historica’s TikTok channel to target the Gen Z audience.
