jewish heritage month

An animated series of shorts that bring pivotal moments of Canadian Jewish history to life through archival images and animation.
CRRF + Ontario Jewish Archives

We love to reignite forgotten stories of Canadian heroes like Sammy Luftspring. His story is not only the journey of an ambitious boxer; but that of an immigrant Jewish man, growing up in Canada, trying to pursue his dreams on the cusp of the Second World War.

For this series, we worked closely with animator (and wizard) Josh Kaplan, to design a style that truly brings archival imagery to life. The result is an engaging story that educates and delights.
